*Best Viewed at Full Size* Today is 1 year to the day that I was officially declared cancer free. I still have a long road ahead of me with frequent follow-ups over the next 4 years, but each year is a celebration. On July 3, 2010 I made the hardest decision ever: To help my soul-mate kitty Chynna to the Rainbow Bridge. She was over 18 years and while still loving her health was declining and she was wasting away. I had made a promise to her when she first adopted me, that I wouldn't cling to her and cause her to suffer if her health came to a point where it was declining beyond help. I kept that promise and let her go while she still had her kitty dignity. My heart breaks everyday, but I also know that I made the right decision for her. I miss her a great deal and I like to think that she still hovers around me, watching over me and keeping me company. So I created this image to celebrate my life and the love between a cat and her human.

Congratulation on one year of being cancer free, may the good lord grant you stay that way. I know how you feel about your kitty. My Miss Kitty will soon have to have that decision made from me. She is 19 years old and while still active, she is slowing down. Love the picture, it is excellent.
