What I did was I ran a Swidhelms modified texture that I added a bunch of creepy looking vines too through several filters in paint shop pro,making the texture darker and allowing the detailing to darken and lighten in certain areas, then I ran it through another filter that gave it a particalised effect giving it a motted and splotched look to the texture, that brang a whole lot of detail into the texture itself. filters I used are crome effects filter with texture color turned on, this particalised the texture, I used this filter on the t-rex texture in my gallery as well so it gives fantastic dinosaur texture effects as well which gave me the idea to try it on the alien which I was not really sure what it would do being the texture had very few details other then some ribbing effects, but glad i did, it broke the texture up so much that it added detail to the blank areas and broke the ribbing up so it looked dirty or organic. brightness and contrast highlight midtone and shadow gamma correction

Does not look like the credit showed up, The Alien and textures are swidhelm's, I thought making it look more realistic would be a fun cool thing to do, and it worked out better then I thought it would, I'll see about contacting Swidhelm later on and see if he would like to release the modified texture for his ALIEN as an additional content or possible upgrade.
