Hi, my name is Ulla and I live in Switzerland. Besides having a talent in working with clay and modelling sculptures in ceramic, photography has been one of my fav hobbies since my teenage years. In the ninties when computers and digital cameras came into my life this hobby was intensified a lot.
Creating in 3d nowadays is my main focus, although my camera still stays with me.

A Viking hiding in his sock - well seen and captured!
T.Rex
In reality, nothing. When I lived in England I asked a Scot, who told me the following - due to the climate, many were incontinent. One tribal chieftain decided around the year 1000 AD that his warriors were to have kilts so they could pee and fight at the same time (= less battle casualties. They didn't have to "break off" a fight to relieve themselves, and thus get a sword in the back). The idea quickly caught on and was then developed into what we see today: family tartan and a lot of unique add-ons. I've both seen photos of kilts blown upwards by the wind, and seen the same in real life - real kilts/Scots DON'T have underpants or anything else underneath. This is a fun variant on the theme. I'm looking foreward to more of your Scotland photos! :-)

Richt you are T.Rex... that's the traditional way, although for the HIgland Games we attended, they wore some sports pants under the kilt, cause it's a family event :) Oh and by the way I found me some really neat music there from the Red Hot Chili PIPERS...have a look and hear, they are amazing :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OwrvHnYpwkk
