Description

We met about four years ago, when I started coming outdoors more, after the war ended. She didn't talk much, but was a good listener, which worked fine, because I have a tendency to ramble. Haven't seen any other people walking around in all that time, so it's nice to have someone to talk to. Otherwise, I might go crazy. Structure by Stonemason

Wonderful story and illustrative image. Excellent details and realistic wreckage. Very nice comparison between the bleak, harsh surroundings and her soft loveliness and pretty pink dress. Very nice artwork! 10+

@lemonjim - there are joints on the mannequin; you need to look closely on the full-size image, but they are there. Yeah, what the others said. Detail, contrast, composition; all the things that keep the eye moving over the picture. Excellent.

i like the stark contrast of the pristine mannequin and rubble of the surroundings, even if that's not very realistic. the pose and attitude of the survivor is very natural. i like the brief narrative; it's very effective and pithy.
