Description

I started this landscape with the idea of using it as a backdrop for a character, but ended up liking it more without the clutter. Hope the week is looking up for everyone and thank you all for such wonderful comments and support! Trees by Bigbraader, Geese by Noggins

Splendid peaceful image. The atmosphere makes me feel the quiet coldness of a late autumn morning. The lighting is supern, espcially the rays in the mist. Excellent work once again.

I love the hazy, misty distance that makes me all nostalgic for the Vltava River...one of my favorite misty rivers (with beer breweries along most of its length. Beer and mist: Nice!) And without any Vltava River references, this is simply wonderful. I like it without characters as well; what you've done here is marvelous and deliciously relaxing and moody in all of the right ways. For some reason, this makes me think of the call of loons as well.
