I'm glad you're feeling better! And I laughed when I saw the title of this picture! I remember learning from Monty Python how to spot trees from a long way away, and the only tree I'd learned to spot was...the larch. And this is a gorgeous shot of a really interesting tree; I love the different shades of green. Nice details as well. Yeah, I like this one a whole lot! I like the house behind it too!

I love larch trees, and this is wonderful. Those pinecones are gorgeeous. Christmas time I use to make small "tomtar" sitting beside eachother on the tiny branches wearing red hats.

I'm with Chip ... I can't see a Larch without thinking of Monty Python. "Number 1 ... the Larch. The Larch." This brings a smile to my face for many reasons! :)

Hope you are up and running again Helle. I have been shocked by the bomb blast and shooting, but feel that things slowly, bit by bit, is getting normal.

Beautiful tree and capture! Wonderful rich abundance of this tree, with so many pine cones. The detail of the pine cones and needles on zoom is excellent.
