I watched on tv a nature expert in Australia that showed the largest species in the world.it was down right scary .even the smaller ones that are venomous are scary.outstanding macro

Ooh, I love millipedes and other critters with lots of legs...there's actually a species of millipede that resembles woodlice...I have yet to see one of those, but I'm sure I'd like them. As for this shot, it's amazing. I love the clarity. As a child I attempted to raise these little critters. I was largely successful but they were more successful at hiding, and so they never provided much entertainment. Oh well. This is an amazing shot. I love that millipedes have two pairs of legs per segment; it makes them see so much more coordinated than centipedes.
