This was taken near La Paz, Mexico. The hills were absolutely beautiful with their varied colors (I think God was making rainbows out of dirt), and the PW I've done on them is mostly just to enhance those colors a bit. The Mexican sky was pretty washed out that day and nondescript, so I replaced it with a photo of an Alaskan sky taken about a month earlier. (As someone once told me, "A picture is worth a thousand lies." ;-)

We have colours such as these in australia in our deserts. the sky looks good you did an amazing job on it. Don't know wether you know his work, Jack dykinga has done some amazing work down that way it's worth a look at his images. well taken my friend

Excellent job! One little thing...I often wondered what the "Blur" tool was for in PS...most experts with the program told me not to use it because you couldn't really control the amount of blur, and to use Gaussian blur instead. However, it really works well on the edge of your selections when you add a sky or something. It blurs the edge just enough to make it look more natural and a part of the original image...just a suggestion.

WOW, I very much love the colors, and the outcome of how the emphasis is on the different hills. A great looking picture it is. :)
