Even Woody gets the Blues... due to *this* site makeover!
No insult or flaming intended! ;)
Just a visual statement, to depict my personal impression and opinion about this..... ehm, site "improvement":
- Ugly new color scheme, imo not suitable for an Art/Gallery site! (A too obtrusive style and coloring. Too saturated and too many variants of blues per page. Not to forget the distracting color-gradients.)
- Decreased Gallery/Forum Navigation due to the removed (common practice!!) underline style for hyperlinks/page-numbers, esp. in combination with certain grey text colors!
- Decreased Gallery Usability due to the removed option to view/open images immediately in fullsize! (Viewing now is a hassle with additional clicks/delays and Browser windows/tabs.)
My personal POV and Summary:
- The efforts for this makeover are appreciated, but not THIS result!
- "Get used to it" resp. "everybody customize a personalized CSS sheet" are no valid alternatives for me and certainly not userfriendly solutions!!

Scene details:
- Bryce4 scene and render.
- Woody is the Poser4 mannequin (though re-textured and posed in Bryce).
- Wall textures created according to screenshots of this hideous new site style/coloring.
- PhotoImpact10 for lettering and for tweaking the R'osity logo. (Results used in Bryce as bitmap textures).
- Extruded text mesh created with C4D.

Nice one, lol. I can definitely see your point. Not been around for a while, and when I returned I thought at first that the site had been hacked (maybe by those pesky anonymices, I hear they get everywhere these days!). Thanks for the laugh :)

Awww, I'm sorry Woody feels blue. I do too for the same reason and while I can agree with all your arguments and I'm sure many others do too, your creativity in venting these feelings has again placed a smile where there was a frown and for that thank you! :) Woody's dog is awesome!!!

Very cool work and great commentary about changing things around - we can now add the Prime membership which allows you to upload 3 images a day and get selected products for a low price AND if you are paying for Gallery plus you get the option of uploading 10 images a day so if you have both - that's 13 images a day - talk about flooding the market.....

Woody legt den Finger auf die Wunde :) Zustimmung zu allem! Habe seit der Neuerung versucht mich irgendwie durchzuschlagen und möglichst vieles zu ignorireren. Schaue die Bilder geschrumpft, weil sich bei voller Größe andere Elemente drüberlegen. Markiere unleserliche Stellen usw. und denke ab und zu, wie schön sind doch Verbesserungen ;) Klasse Illustration!

Wow, great humorous look at the changes, which I am not happy with either. I love your little guys up there and all the signs and the one scratching his head makes me laugh so much. I too thought the other one was 100% better, and well, at least was hoping for a color change. Maybe this look at it will convince them! Great render!
