My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Gosh! That's exciting! I need to get in there and so some portraits in those pans. This is a great pic, Tara, very stimulating!

OK, Tara - you had me going googly-moogly for a moment with this one... At first I thought it was a reflection in the window - but the numbers would be backwards.... So, we're looking into this window into the kitchen, and through an apparently large window on the other side of the kitchen.... Now, I could definitely cook in a kitchen like that! :-D Mmmmmm - kitchen.... Now, I'm hungry...

Like it! Comments above all add additional humor to this very flavorful shot. I initially was with Rod...googly-moogly;-), but now I get it all.

Really wonderful, love the "not a reflection" concept, without your explanation I may not have picked up on that....!

Splendid composition with the window acting as a frame for this somewhat surreal image. Outstanding eye, glad you weren't caught by the neighbors.

although I commented on this privately, I wanted to add something here. In addition to the juxtapositions of world with world, this has a clarity that sings out like a jewel. The clean white moulding, along with the equally clean siding, makes the window contents stand out like an abstract in a modern frame. Clarity abounds. And the metallic forms make beautiful foils to the surrounding: The "picture" in the center---ie, the kitchen---is small but dominant; while the "frame" is so large but so open. Wonderful juxtaposition of elements in one piece. This is beautiful work...
