My name is Kevin Ward. I live in Lincolnshire, England
I have had a life long love of Art , Photograghy and most things creative especially other people's. I was retired early due to ill heath giving me a whole lotta time to fill.
I now try to do something new everyday to improve my own artistic skills with just one motto
" enjoy life with the people you love "Â They always try to understand my crazy art, what more can you ask!

You may want to do a custom white balance in camera to help bring out the white in the foliage. There is quite a learning curve to IR, but that is one of the basics.

I don't know anything about IR but I know this is the sort of Black and white image I love. You know, when you are out walking and just stand and close your eyes for a moment and then when you open them everything is in double clarity if there is such a thing. Everything seems sharper, clouds seem closer and you can see layers in everything.

A beautiful IR image and I can see you are going to have fun with this new toy.

This is a superb B&W Kevin.

OOO! Have fun! I'm the same , so easily distracted, and then I get locked into the new thing. This looks like the moment or two before some ghastly murder takes place , or the discovery of a body round the corner.

Nicely done, Kevin; Ronnie was experimenting with this technique too, apparently there's some kind of colour shift you have to do to get the white foliage, but it's all beyond me. Sometimes they look just like shots from the depth of winter, and it can be hard to figure out when they were actually taken! Excellent shot!
