Its a long weekend and for a change both Glenda and I are off work at the same time. :) Will be taking off for the weekend in a couple of hours. Not sure where we are going yet, just want to get away before the phone rings trying to get us to come into work to cover staff shortages.

The solidity and realistic presence of this is outstanding, Jim. I have seen formations both in and out of caves that are identical to this. They are formed when water erodes the softer sediments and leaves these spheres behind. The very first thing that occurred to me when I saw your image was the "blueberries" found by the robotic rover on mars. Great perspective too, and perfection on the shadows. The geometric patterning on the surface is fantastic. I hope you and Glenda enjoy your weekend gallivant wherever your whimsy takes you.
