I know what it is but don't want to spill the beans this early. They were produced in Chicago and only 51 were produced. There was a 1988 movie about the designer/builder. Great picture and I love the rich deep blue paint job.

"The middle headlight actually turns with the direction of the front wheels"? Seriously wonderful! I want one (the headlight not the car)

Fantastic work. I like the way that you used the reflected lights to accentuate the Tucker's contours.

Nice shot - they have one of these at the San Diego Auto Museum - they are impressive vehicles - big, roomy and that steerage cyclops light. Great work.

Good old time! I wished our cars today could be like this! Cars with a personality, with a face and with room inside. Thanks for sharing this beauty!

I've seen this car only once at the Smithsonian museum. This car was way ahead of it's time, with features that didn't appear until the 60's and 70's. Rear engine, seat-belts and padded dashboard.

A super capture and the blue paintwork looks so shiny and clean. I'm useless at knowing one car from another.

I think I know what it is. The center headlight turns with the steering. They auctioned one at the Barrett-Jackson show for I think close to a million more or less, not sure. Very rare!! A Tucker???

I wouldn't want to go up against Bill on a quiz show – especially if plane and cars were the categories. Gorgeous car and capture. Looks like it just rolled of the production line. This is a great share Andrew. Dana

Well, now that it's several days later I guess I can get away with guessing that its a 1948 Tucker Torpedo?
