Hubby, kids and I have called the Jersey Shore home for 36 years, but we'll be moving within the next year to the Gatlinburg, TN area. I've heard from others who did the same and then moved back because they so missed the ocean. Hubby and I are more 'pool' people than ocean and both grew up with farms and/or mountains so it should be an easier transition. Well, we hope, anyway. :)  I recently put my writing career on hold, discovered Poser, and with it, a love of creating digital art.  Thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of several incredibly talented artists I didn't let my introduction to Poser overwhelm me (though I nearly did). The world of digital creativity is an awesome place and I'm so glad I found it. what I do is if there is not much postwork, I render one small size for renderosity such as 1000 pixels, render it in good quality settings then render again a larger size , but tha tis if you plan on using larger size elsewhere or sell as prints, other wise you just waste your time... I did put in a request at renderosity a little while ago to increase the file size limit, the answer I got back was they are not going to do it due to lots of uploads.... Well in our day most servers have unlimited file space...so why not increase it?

Lovely image Linda, she looks beautiful.. The old loss of quality is a pain but I guess its part of posting on here with their size limit...

When I've done images that are originally well over 1 or 2 meg in size I run it through GIMP, just saving it at a lower percentage until it fits the 512k limit. Haven't noticed any real loss of quality when I've done that, either.
