... and my brain ,thoughts or feelings too !! live so well as always in the clouds but i'm no angel! why am i writing this now? hmm... one user here send me a site mail yesterday, with the a regulation with a to do for my ratings or better no rating on other Pictures her ,i have repeatedly devalued pictures with my rating! But i say 'no' it's 'my Choice' ,my Thoughts, my Feelings to take a Rating or not or how high this Rating as long as it is the other users offering! my life is too short for this shit !!myself it does not matter whether or how much you rating my pictures !! I do not know how you feel about my rating....?! Any Regulations now for me then ok send me a mail ....sorry i'm angry about this childish behavior ! everyone can do as he wants, but i want to leave in peace with...and no one is setting me under pressure , ok point! ...but i gave you all only one single word *respect* hope you understand my bad english too ;) ------------------ this is really my home on the pic :) under the roofs ,on the bay window is my mini balcony and and below the dome is my living room, in front of this house (it is far older than 100years)stands a sculpture of an artist who has donated to city... Thanks for all and have a nice day @all !

Now I see where You get all those awesome shots from Your belcony. Wonderful place to see the World pass by. Rate what You feel!

First I like your shot of your home. Second If our friends take the trouble to upload a pic then I will always rate it with a five when the ratings box is open.

someone asked me several years ago why my ratings are turned off.this is the exact reason why.the ratings are not a true representation of quality work or not.if I really like a picture,I will add to my favorites. another person accused me of lowering her ratings.the solution was not to comment on her work after that I like the structure and would like to live on the top floor to have a good vantage point for skies

Dear Feliciti; I love your English and your determination. Do what your hearth tells you and you will not regret it, because you will be at peace with the most impotant person you know, youself. Those who love you will understand and support you, and that is what life is about. Love!

Wonderful capture! I love the design of your home and hope that you have a great view from up there. If members can't handle the ratings they receive than thy have the option to shut off thier ratings options. Stick to your guns my friend. Dana

I do love the abode where you are living - must make a great art studio ... Don't let those turkeys get you down Susanne, there are always some here, who are the pits with their knowledge of (or the lack of it!) the rating system - do what you have always done, you got my support and stick to your beliefs and I'll do the same ! I for one, will always turn off the ratings, simply because I find it's never a true reflection of genuine talent, it's only good for the hardcore surfers who desperately want to rule the art-charts, week after week - it's really sad! Tschuess my friend - bis bald - BB

a nice place to live for a very nice old house, wonderfully captured in a great mood of the picture;-) It is good if you have your own opinion, and unfortunately there are people who can not handle it. ein schöner Ort um zu wohnen , ein sehr schöner Altbau , wunderbar eingefangen in einer tollen Bildstimmung ;-) Es ist gut wenn man seine eigene Meinung hat , und es gibt leider Menschen die können damit nicht umgehen.

I agree with you about the ratings dear Susanne, everybody has his own decision to rate ore not to rate......i have my ratings on, but i don't make a problem with it.....we are indeed adults, and lets behave like adults. Love your beautiful picture of your house....it must be awesome to live in such a beautiful house.....big hugs Adrie.

Gute detaillierte Aufnahme. Wohnst ja ganz schön hoch oben, aber sieht schön aus. Das Rating-System hier ist sowieso für den A..., ich lass meine Bilder schon lange nicht mehr bewerten.

I agree with you. Your house is beautiful, as is the photograph. I removed the ratings from my own gallery because I respect those who vote, whatever that vote might be, but I do not understand those who combine apparent praise with a low rating. Why not match the rating given to the comment made? It is hard to not consider such a mismatch as bad faith.

What an image! WOW! This is absolutely gorgeous! I would live there if I could! On the top floor, with the skylights! That (for me) would be the best place for writing as well as photography! I'm very happy to see this; it's an incredibly gorgeous shot! I love the composition and the sky is very dramatic! Nice color contrasts also! This is so well seen! Marvelous! As for ratings...you're absolutely right! I prefer to rate or not to rate depending on merit. Renderosity is an art site, after all, and not a popularity contest in high school!

Great capture, Felicity - or do you prefer Susanne? It most be wonderful to look out on a starry night sky from there atop?... I don't quite understand yet why all that talk about ratings and so on started? I'm an not sure either I got the full meaning right? The most important I think is to comment others artwork as a way to get to know the peoples around here, exchange ideas and so on. I like to do funny stuff and entertain others so that's it for me. And I really enjoy to visit the different galleries to see what's on peoples mind, not just art but also thoughts and alike.

I love the contrast between the home and the modern sculpture. Food for thought.
