Description
Pretty one yes? I like these little creatures, but not the ticks on them. But they say the ticks fall off, when they change skin. I hope it is true. The shot was taken monday afternoon.

What a handsome lizard. He looks well fed, too! I love the scale patterns and it's good that I don't live there; I'd try to catch a number of them and start a lizard colony somewhere! They'd likely thrive, but that's beside the point. Great capture and I love the inclusion of your hand along with this handsome reptile; it gives a great sense of scale. Oh dear, did I just make a pun?

It must feel so good to shed his skin and get rid of the ticks! Shedding ones skin and getting rid of old irritants sounds pretty inviting. He's gorgeous! I love his patterns and colors. Beautiful capture! Wonderful detail!
