Description
The first two are a couple of quick renders using Tate`s SToo1 and the LDD stroller done in Carrara
BG by Capelito
The bottom is my first Maya render
I have been using Maya for a couple of days since Autodesk announced that all there software could be downloaded for 30 days trail or free for student use. So over the last few days I have:-
Day1 one download 1.4gig install and register
Day2 configure Wacom Bamboo to work as 3 button mouse Download some videos and play about, made a banana and a vase!
Day3 MY first scene. Bong was saved as a fbx file format from Carrara and then imported into Maya he losses the textures but he then has a rig for posing. I then worked out the texturing lighting shadows and some simple modeling to make the scene
I suppose with anything new it seems difficult but I hope with time to crack some of the features this package has to offer
A couple of weddings for the weekend so I start prep tomorrow but in the mean time I will download a few more videos!
Happy midweek to All! Maybe see you Sunday!

I will never understand why it is so complicated to go from one softawre to another in 3d : textures, lighting, moving in the scene... one always have to learn new things and to change one's habits :-( Nice job, the upper right image looks very good !

I am a true autistic when it affects other software. Maybe I'm too slow on the uptake. Well, DS, Carrara, Hexagon and Bryce. That's enough for me actually. In any case, all your pictures are very well done!
