I went to Cornucopia and bought some Don Webster architecture, now I must learn to do it justice! Learning, learning, learning, forgetting, learning again.

Ha!! I have to respond to tif666 -- yes it is a stunning arrangement. I tried to mimic as closely as I could Don Webster's image at cornucopia.

Learning, learning, forgetting... I have to laugh.. for saying forgetting... one of my biggest problems is I can't remember everything I did just yesterday. A good start.... play around with the atmosphere and watch the effects you get... you will be surprised at just how different the materials will look with each change.... much more then just changing the light levels. Good job with the shadows from out of site elements like we discussed.... but loose the stagecoach :)

Wow! This is gorgeous. For some reason it looks to me as a portal between parallel realities: the little channel obscured from the sun looks like it leads to a different world full of mystery and probably magic. Beautiful image and composition. Even though the little channel is in the shadow, the attention is pulled into it, and even though there are plenty of interesting details in the sunny foreground, I am actually striving to make out the details of the foggy world of the little channel. And I love this effect.

Don Webster has indeed some amazing products (for me too expensive ,but i can imagine he spends a lot of time creating them). Would love to see some people in this render. Stagecoach doesn't quit fit in a Bruges atmosfeer (but this is my personal opinion),try an open coach instead (coming from someone who always wanted to live there ,but can't afford it and therefor lives about 45min of it).
