I'm glad you gave us the exif information. The image is not as sharp as it could be because the 1/320 sec. shutter speed is very slow for a shot of this nature. If your lens can go to f 5.6 it would increase your shutter speed. If not try boosting your ISO higher. I'm guessing the composition is croppedfrom a larger image. My suggestion here is to try recropping with less room on the right side and more on the left so the heronhas some room to fly before it is at the edge of the frame. Post processing IMHO is a bit to contrasty. I'm not in any way trying to bash your image, just want to share what others have with me. :)
