Description

Rendered in Carrara 7, modeled in Sculptris The scull was the first thing I modeled, the figure second, and ofcourse the dragon head was the third. Sculptris is FREE from pixologic the makers of ZBrush. I saw some work done in ZBrush more than 11 years ago, I picked my jaw up off the floor and started saving up my money. I bought ZBrush 1.5 yup 1.5 that long ago, and after many tuts and much effort I never got anything as good as my third piece shown here. Do yourself a HUGE favor and go try this for yourself, the interface is so easy to use. It's as good as free gets as far as I'm concerned.

If you can get these great results with sculptris why would you need Zbrush! I know Zbrush has a lot more tools but you can also try mud box for free or reg as a student!

Yup was reading a blog and the writer mentioned mud box but liked Sculptris more.
