Description

"...the women are busy as always, most of them at least. Back from a very succesful hunt the first of the men arrives, trying to impress the women with his turkeys. They deliberately ignore him, he shouldn't rush in before the other hunters just to brag, that's certainly bad manners!" Well, I'm back again after a major computer/HD crash and rebuilding of my system. The good thing: No loss of data at all :) Toolbox: Vue, Poser & Photoshop. Items from DAZ, Renderosity, ShareCG and myself. I've had this the Native Village set from DAZ for a while (came with 3DArtist magazine) and actually always had some interest in the history and life of the "indians". Then, last week I saw a fantastic film, "The New World" (director Terrence Malik) and got really inspired to actually try and make something with the set. (The film is about the Jamestown settlement and Pocahontas. This image has of course nothing to do with that. It's just my artisticly licensed interpretation of an afternoon in a native American village.) I will get back to my fantasy compositions - I just need to get this "native stuff" out of my system :) Also, I'd like to appologize for not being around to comment on your works. Well, there was a reason for that :) Thanks for viewing, comments etc. always welcome and appreciated. Have nice day - Lars

i'm sorry to hear you've been struggling with computer problems, and very glad to hear you didn't lose any work. i actually think the people in this scene are a bit more natural than your fantasy scenes. you're getting better and better at posing figures. the materials of the imported objects aren't yet on par with the native Vue elements, but i'm sure you'll get there. this is phenomenal work.
