Description
Way back in February of this year, I placed an order for a 3D World back issue that had Vue 8 Frontier as a giveaway. I waited for six weeks before it showed up in the mail !
By that time, I wasn't anxious to do anything with it. I registered my copy and went on to other more pressing issues of everyday life, some happy, some sad... but that's life.
Anyway, I wanted to take my comics to a different level by using other tools. I played with Bryce 7 PLE and made a panel the other day. I was hoping that my old Poser4 ProPack would work with Vue 8 Frontier and it does. There are error messages when importing from Poser, but I ignored them all and was able to get a character into Frontier. After hours of trial and error, fiddling, cursing and swearing, I was able to come up with this. No big deal to all you Vue experts, but to me, I have another 3D tool to play with. This image had 63.8 million polygons and took a few hours to render. Yeah, the background is super bright, but that was what I was looking for. This isn't supposed to be here on Earth and the sun is a white dwarf.
Empress B. dangles her toes into an ocean on a small moon that she and True Minor are now stranded on...
Bonnie North aka Empress Bahottah - P4 female created by me
Bikini texture by John Hoagland
Posed in Poser. Setup and rendered in Vue 8 Frontier.
