Mr. Jones and Bartlett are driven through the Manhattan night by their aide. This awesome scene was focused around the Vanishing Point Luxury sedan as the starting point. It's a NYC theme, so I almost used the Vanishing Point Brownstone again but I decided against it. If you've been wathcing my gallery you've seen I do like DreamLand Models, and I picked up Movies Sets, City Block Seven. This image features that model shown twice, the second iteration is turned. It also features Instant City from Ian Palmer which I've used in quite a few renders. I've latched the camera onto the back part of the Luxury Sedan, and used some ambient settings to bring the lights up to a "natural" level you might see if the car passed you in these lighting conditions. I needed an element in the sky to even things out. Lighting wasn't in the script, so my choices were the moon or an airplane. I went with Vanishing Point 717, which is another pretty cool model; though it's distant. It's a cool scene and I like how it came out.
