They most likely like you Mike but on the other hand there is the need for food. I like the shot in either case. Dana

Love all the feeders you have, I have bird feeders and squirrel feeders but I don't have a hummingbird feeder I need to get one. Love how you used old hangers to hang them pretty clever..

Awesome capture Mike. Maybe a bit of both, hungry and brave and knowing you are a good friend. Very rare as usually they are so timid, but beautiful little birds.

Bumminghird??? Hmmmm. We usually call them hummingbirds. Just sayin' grins. We have a feeder out at the Hollow, and there's a bunch of them coming. One thinks it's hers and drives the others away all the time. But they keep coming back to sneak a little from the feeder! I make a sugar and water mixture. The red dye causes cancer and beak deformation in them. The recipe I use is 1 part sugar to 4 parts water. A friend says she makes hers one part sugar to 2 parts water and the hummingbirds love it. I started making mine stronger like that, and they like it way better now! Bears?? Did Mikeerson say BEARS??? Okay .. not what I wanted to read. There have been bear sightings out our way.
