Description

Just got back from my 3 months tour of the british Isles (England, Scotland, wales & Ireland) Living for three months in a tent "getting back to nature" is an amazing experience!!!!. Landscapes, wildlife, architecture its all in there (I shot 10.000 pix) So let start of with a beautiful village in Wales called Llanwst. Pont Fawr Bridge. It is said to have been designed by Inigo Jones and it was built in 1636 by Sir John Wynn of Gwydir Castle. The bridge connects the town with Gwydir, a manor house dating from 1492, the fifteenth-century courthouse known as Tu Hwnt i'r Bont and also with the road from nearby Trefriw. Originally built to carry horses and carts, the bridge has stood up well to modern traffic, not to mention the regular floods. As always FULL ZOOMAGE RECOMENDED

What a beautiful view. The bridge looks great, and I'd love to see that house more close...with all this green covering it almost completely. These are the sceneries I love! Thanks for the info, very interesting. Have never been to Wales but to Cornwall which is most beautiful as well.
