Description

Yesterday (8/4/2011) I came home and found this in a tree in my backyard. I quickley ran into the house got my camara keeping my fingers crossed that it still would be in the tree when I returned. As you see it was. I hope you enjoy.

Gorgeous shot! Have you noticed that owls always seem to wear the coolest pants? Okay, it's leg feathers, but still...they look like pants, and this particular beauty looks decidedly unimpressed. Owls tend to do that, as if they've seen and done everything! They probably have, for all we really know about them. And as for this shot, it's simply gorgeous!

I know how you felt about the owl still sitting there... :o) And Chipka is right, it always looks as if they're wearing pants. Eagles IMO, too. A truely outstanding pic - thanks for sharing it with us! ~Sassy~
