The three goblins offer to let Shandara go free in the morning, if she surrenders her weapons to them. Having no desire to be their plaything for the night, Shandara makes them a counter offer. If they can take her waepons from her, she promises them a night they will never forget. Expecting the other 6 members of their goblin party to be coming down the stairs behind her at any moment, they happily agree. Nine to one after all, seems like even more than a drow could possibly handle, in their opinion. In truth, Shandara would have cut through the nine of them as a group, nearly as easily as she did the initial 6 upstairs. Shandara sidesteps the first attacker and counters too fast for his comrads to even see. They stare in amazement as he falls to the floor in a never ending sleep. Seeing that the other two intend to wait for the expected backup from upstairs, Shandara informs them, there will be nobody coming to their aid. The two sensing their doom, can only watch in horror, as Shandaras daggers fly through the air towards them, as if the world suddenly slowed to a crawl. They thought they had safety in numbers, but as the daggers sink into each of their chests, they realize all too late, their numbers were far too few, to ever survive an encounter with a foe such as this.
