Description

She is the ultimate in model railroading, the ultimate kids toy in a real world, she's a remote control engine and shes fun to play with. The purpose of such a engine is that it can move rail cars into place that are deemed overly dangerous for people to be in, such as a steel mill, where say they "pour the heats " the huge 35 ton ladle that gets picked up and pours the molten metal into mould's that weigh up to 12 tons each and then have to be transported to the roller mill another dangerous place to be. The principal is the same as that of a model rail road. The operator stands outside the place where the engine & cars need to be. He has a control panel on a sling about his neck. at the back of the cab you can see sticking out a series of 4 light, yellow, 2 greens & a red & on the control panel there are the duplicate 4 lights & on the roof of the cab is a flashing orange light. The operator stands outside the building, moving the engine into place to pick up the cars. The yellow light would be flashing denoting that caution is required here and once the engine is hooked to the cars then the green light below it blinks telling the operator that the cars are hooked and he can proceed to where they need to be. The operator can at this point ride the engine to its destination or walk along beside it to have it arrive where it should be. Once there he will put the train in reverse and the yellow light will flash and the horn sound telling those nearby that the train is backing in. The red light will blink when the last car of the train passes the sensor effectively stopping it, then once put into the forward position the green lights will blink telling the operator that the engine is uncoupled and is leaving the building and that another successful transit has been completed. The engine can also if required be actually driven from the cab where it may do yard work such as shunting cars about the small yard, placing the empties on one track for pick up and the full loads on another for being placed in a goods train.........thanks for the peek

Wow I never would have imagined that it is radio controlled. Maybe they could do that to our local commuter trains. They couldn't be any more late than they already are!!!!!!!! Great work as usual mate.
