Lovely image. Though I'm not sure this was what John Wyndham had in mind when he wrote 'The Kraken Wakes', in 1953. :-) ps. This book was published in the US as 'Out of the Deeps'. Just thought I'd mention that in case anyone hadn't heard of the UK title. :-)
