You may be unfamiliar with those lyrics, because it's the title from an old Australian hit song by the Rock group 'Midnight Oil'.
It has also very little to do with my post today - a PASSIONFRUIT flower from my garden.
It just stirred some memories reading the word 'Passion', it can happen you know! ;-)

On another train of thought, I have actually got an idea of calling this pretty unusual flower either a 'HELI-FRUIT' or a 'PASSION-COPTER' and if you look closely, you may also see what I see a couple of helicopter blades ? or maybe something totally different ...

Stellar colors, focus and composition in this sharp macro, Briggitte! Actually, haha, to me the top part resembles a combination of a sea anemone and an urchin. As for the so called helicopter blades, they remind me of the insoles of my walking shoes.

A super capture of this beautiful flower and I like the angle you have taken this shot from. This does look as if it could take off with those helicopter blades and wouldn't it look pretty flying through the air with its frilly skirt. We have a very cold wind today so a good excuse not to go out. I hope your Sunday is going well.
