I like the otherworldly quality of the ship. It's not one of ours, or is it?

To fs13 : I have modeled myself the ship in 3DSMAX.

Nice atmosphere... I like the use of lights, (and I like that moon)...

Not too bad... But it needs a little work... One can never improve if everyone always tells them that their work is perfect... The spaceship isn't too bad, but it's textures are kind of dull, the car, which I'm willing to be, was not modeled by you (looks too 'stock') is decent, but adds an incosistancey to the image. The figure itself is too stiff, with no real life to it, rather, it looks as if it's a manneqin placed in the street and posed. The craft itself should be a significant lightsource for the image, but it casts no shadows. The windows on the building are too large, and look like basically, then entire side of the building is made of glass panes. There is no real sense of directorship here... My suggestion would be to use some of those great image filters that came with 3DSMAX, like the atmosphereic perspective filters (motion blur, distance.) On the up side, the street has an excellent texture applied to it, and the street itself is very interesting (read: well done) Even the street sign is well done. This pic is not a bad one, it just needs more work. Good luck, and have fun!

One more thing. The spaceship lights seem to be most bright in that scene. So where are the shadows. There is a shadow from the moon which couldn't be visible in lights such bright as the ship and the street lights.

I like this picture a lot, but I must agree with crommcruac on the light (not that I've ever seen a UFO;) Very nice work!
Maxfalcon
In fact the light doesn't touch the character and the car as the UFO is far away.... and the light of the UFO are perpendicular to the road. With attenuation, this give this impression..
