Description

Perhaps you have some old photos in a forgotten album packed away someplace, gathering dust and age and perhaps mildew. But once upon a time, those photos were new and fresh! As fresh as the out-of-doors, when perhaps life wasn't so full of nerve wracking distractions, deadlines and calamities! I have such photos in many old albums of my parents, their parents and other relatives. Photos of long lost cousins with long forgotten names and associations! Perhaps, this scene might depict the joy in a young man's heart at getting a long deserved promotion at work, and the additional perk of a 'company car'! Well, I can only speculate, for the inspiration for this scene came out of nowhere with no introductions or explanations. I will leave you, the viewer, to draw your own conclusions. Thank you for taking a peek! Your support is greatly appreciated!

you hit the nail on the had with nerve wracking distractions and the tons of attractivities to lure the youth into an unreal world. comes to my mind a couple days ago we played with our little baby pet and we threw some toys around at a given moment the pet was overstuffed i could see it in his behavior he did not knew with what toy to play first, and i said to ute: see how it goes??. i remember we had a lot less as kids next to nothing even and we played for years with the same toys,we had more respect and we had to fight. nowadays the parents say: we have to protect our kids and on the other hands they are unable to give the kids the "weapons" the mental ones i mean, to confront the 21st century. they just stuff everything up the kids ass and the kid will never be abble to fight upcoming situations and to find his way alone without help. when a crisis occurs they take a gun and shoot around and run apeshit or they have depressions and whatever sh.. they call it. sorry for the rant i could go on for hours but that does no good to me.

Oh, I'm quite sure that life has ALWAYS had its share of nerve-wracking distractions, deadlines, and calamaties! It's part of the human condition! This is a cool scene! For some reason it makes me think of H.G. Wells!!
