Description

The reason they build bridges is of course to stay dry under it during heavy rainfall.. grin
Mike wanted to know the length of the tours if we don't stay under a bridge for weeks.. it normally lasts about 2 hours (6km) but there are tours possible that are 5 hours within the city.. and when you leave the city they can be even longer. The record (without stops) was a little over 3.5 hours this year. That is a great route over 2 canals and several 17th century canals. With stop (restaurant) this lasts 4.5 hours

Nasty rain! It should be scheduled for when you're not giving tours. :) Or when I'm not walking our dog(s)!

I had to add to this comment = lol I really like this picture Chris, I hope you got more images of the rainy event... If ya got a bunch, you might want to put them all together for one upload. by mikeerson (online now) on Aug 7, 2011 9:06:37 am [homepage] [delete] WOW... that rain looks like it's coming down hard... how do you keep the people entertained? Ya gotta have some in the boat that have a look in their eyes they just want to throw you over board and take off with the boat - they can't handle the waiting - lol... Thanks for answering the questions, you're alright, I don't care what the crazy impatient people say about you - lol

Great composition. That line on the lower right where the pitch black shadows meet the smooth water looks fantastic...
