Description

Hey everyone, Here's a view over Chilterns countryside during the afterglow of a hazy spring sunset. The Chilterns has been home to part of my family for the past two decades now and has been designated as an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. Much of what I've shown you guys of the area consists of views from within its woodlands, but today I'm presenting you with a more traditional landscape view looking out over a valley during the intense afterglow of sunset. Maybe a slightly personal image this one but hopefully you can still enjoy a little slice of what I call Home. ................................................................................................................................................... (A little update about where best to follow my photography these days, feel free to skip this bit if you're not interested in keeping up to speed with my latest news or images or in interacting outside of RR...) Sorry to have not been around much lately, I am afraid these days I am finding I have less and less time to devote to the various online art communities of which I am a member due to other photographic projects and commitments. I wish I had more time to be able to browse and comment like I used to but unfortunately I can't see that changing anytime soon. For those of you who enjoy following my work don't worry, I'm not off, but just saying I won't be able to be around as much as I once was. I will always have a soft spot in my heart for Renderosity. It's the place I first started posting my photographs online a few years ago (thanks Rich ;)) and in that time the community has helped me grow and develop as a photographer and I've met some lovely people along the way too, many of whom I am glad to be in touch with outside of the site. In particular I have been pleased to see some find me over on my Facebook page lately... this is really the pulse of my photography these days and the place I first tend to share any news and new images. If you're interested in keeping up to date with my latest news and images by all means I'd love to see you over there. If however you're allergic to Facebook (and I know a lot of people are), you may prefer to come and find me over on Google+ (which is brand new and still in beta mode, but very swish nonetheless). This is essentially much the same setup as Facebook but with a few improvements, particularly for photographers. I'm using this almost as a mirror site to Facebook to keep in touch with a wider audience and for the quick and easy interaction it allows. At the moment I believe it is invite-only, but I have 150 invitations to give out to anyone who thinks they might like to give it a shot, so if you're interested let me know and I'll sort you out! Anyway just thought I'd let you know that I will still be around, but for those of you who really want to keep up with my work, those are the best ways these days. Cool? Cool. My Facebook: link My Google+: link ................................................................................................................................................... I hope you're all doing great and having a wonderful weekend, I look forward to a long overdue browse to see what you've all been up to! Have a great Sunday my friends, much love :) Adam

Real colours I assure you... I have lifted the luminance of the foreground yellows slightly but apart from that all natural. The blue in the midground in case you're wondering is due to reflected light from the mostly clear blue sky out of frame overhead :)

A very beautiful capture with super lighting and it is lovely to see a posting from you again, but it is hard to fit everything into a day isn't it and commenting takes a lot of time.
