Description

An RCA Television from 1939. This is a model that I did for my upcoming project. I still have several to do. I will start off with one image that I have in my head allready. I think it is going to take a while. But hopefully I will have something to inspire me to do more. - and yes that is a modern war scene playing on an old tv... Tech notes- This was a real pain for me to model. I'm pretty new to modeling and I did this in carrara. I thought it would be easy since it is basicly a box. I think all together I put about 15 hours into this. Not this model. I did this in about 30 minutes in the end. I kept having to redo it over and over. I would get to one of the final steps and my whole model would deform like crazy! I tried different orders of beveling, extruding, etc. For several hours it was all one model that I cut into and beveled and welded and extruded. But something would always ruin the model. I kept trying different approaches. Finally - this one is all seperate vertex primatives. It went quite easily. The textures are just temps. Got some textures from http://www.cgtextures.com/
