My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Love it! Makes me daydream about someplace other than Los Angeles.

Spoiler alert: this image fits a story I'm currently writing, only there are no redwoods on the planet I'm writing about. It's got other things and some of them are kinda squishy. I love that I saw this just as I decided to take a break from writing. Funny how synchronicity works...you're in one bit of headspace, you dip out, and BANG! ZOOM! there's a reference to where you were...only in this case, it's elegant and full of all sorts of visual excitement. I love this image for numerous reasons (and none of them are squishy.) Your postwork is spot on, especially since I have no idea what sort of postwork you did. It's so seamless with the image itself, but that's as postwork should be at times. It's a mood thing. And like wysiwig, it makes me daydream about a place other than [insert city name]...in my case, Chicago.

Oh those wonderful redwoods! Nice shot Tara.

It was all about giant trees and beautiful light in that grove. You've captured the pure essence of our stop there. I must revisit my redwood files...hmmmmm:)
