Description
We got a beautiful visitot in the Patio yesterday. The biggest Dragonfly we have in DK. WOW! it was beautiful. We tried to take shots of it, It just wouldnt let us, but promised us to pose for us outside. As soon as we came outside, it would gladly sit on my sons finger and I could take as many shots as I wanted. Pitty it was so late in the evening that the sun wasnt very strong. But....

You know, back in the prehistoric ages, these creatures were as big as this one is on full zoom! You should ask your son if this gorgeous critter weighed very much. It looks heavy...and I'd hate to collide with one of these people flying at full speed! Ouch! Okay...now onto the picture! WOW! This is simply amazing! I don't get to see very many close shots of a dragonfly's face, and so this shot is even better for me. They're such handsome creatures; they look more like living things up close, rather than high-performance experimental aircraft! The colors are amazing, and I love the compound eyes...you got the individual facets! And you also captured dragonfly hair! Nice! Very nice! This is super!
