Blithe (for Lashia) by KatesFriend

Greetings everyone. This week I am going to start a new tradition of dedicating a rendering to Renderosity monitors who happen to out me for offensive material or bad language. Though I don't get nailed too often, I did get caught last week in the text of my most recent streetcar photo 'TTC PCC 4549 Curving From Bathurst To Queen's Quay'. I issued a disparaging description of a certain reining Toronto mayor for which Lashia, Renderosity's Photography Coordinator, politely asked to delete. I have to admit, I had it coming. So today I would like to dedicate this Poser 7 rendering to Selina (aka. Lashia here at Renderosity). Selina is a breathtaking landscape photographer and fellow Canadian - BONUS. I am in fact rather glad to have had my knuckles rapped by her because that was how I discovered her gallery. This world is a strange place. In today's rendering, Bethany (Vany's younger sister) is experiencing an irreverent moment just prior to starting her spiritual retreat. More on that tomorrow when I post a corresponding animated GIF. Indeed, I again took up the investigation of animated GIFs. And believe me, I use the term 'animated' very, very loosely. However, I am learning quite a bit from the process. Though, I have noticed that said GIFs really suck the colour and detail out of a scene - a trade off or Faustian bargain I suppose. An issue further complicated by the 512KB size limit here at Renderosity as I had to scale down the dimensions of my 'animation' so that it will fit within those limits. You'll see what I mean tomorrow if all goes well. But since I am always eager to give my renderings as much detail as my poor exhausted computer can muster, I felt rather cheated by the devil named GIF - though I admit, it is seductive. So this posting is a fully rendered and detailed frame from the GIF animation to show off the full look of the scene. More to come...

I am somewhat dismayed that they would ask you to delete the comments. I would never have asked that, my approach was to try to point out a more effective way of objecting to the man's politics. That said, I respected your right to call him whatever you wanted and I don't think they should have asked you to delete it, particularly when I believe you had a language warning on the posting. I really dislike censorship, but trying to change someone else's mind is always fair game. I am truly sorry it led to censorship.
