Description

"Christian's Butterfly swim-1 - Diving start" Dedicated to my oldest grandson, 11yo Christian, who is a competetive swimmer. First image in a set of three. His form in the dive reminds me of a Boeing 747 taking off. He is getting the last ounce of propulsion off that toe still pushing off the starting block. BTW, he won this race. Thank you for looking and your kind comments on the other two pictures.

Can appreciate the mechanics of pushing off by the use of that left leg to counter balance back to the water. Great action shot!
