Oh how I miss the old days! lol
There was a time, when a trip to Chester, or York, would take you back in time to the old Pounds, Shillings and Pence! Goodness gracious!
All these shops have gone, making way for superdupermarkets, with not a scrap of character or civility.
I remember the old fashioned values and try to be considerate and Chivalrous at every opportunity.
I even took the trouble to live near a pawn shop, so Cathy could be close to her Wedding ring! lol

Does anyone know how Dawn (1010) is please?

yeah but when seeing all the asses walking around i come to think they dont deserve better-uneducated bunch parents worse than the kids,in fact they show all the s..t to the kids instead of teaching them values.

I searched through your comments to see if there was any word on Dawn/1010... I didn't see anything... I wish I could answer your question, but I haven't heard from her in a long time... I thought I saw her avatar in a comment the other day though, maybe eekdog? don't know... sorry I can't help ya on this. ...as far as your picture, these two look like sisters... the one by the phone just answered it and found out her sister's (walking the tight rope) X-husband just got out of jail, he didn't pay $200, he just left the board - lol

Talk about little shops. What I remember growing up was the dairy store. You would walk in and there were two big (100 lbs) slabs of butter. You would just said how much you wanted and the man would take a knife and cut the amount you needed..Pot cheese in bulk (not cottage cheese) Owner passed on and that was the end of the store. How about the old butcher shops and chicken markets..Now everything is purchased at the supermarket..
