Description
Pretty much I used the same terrain set-up as I did on my last, but with lots of tweaking.
One discovery: by hooking a powerfractal + strata - outcrops to a warp shader, the strata lines follow only the warp displacement in lieu of lying flat down on the terrain and existing everywhere you look.
I'm not too thrilled with that mesa, but I feel I'm onto something. Maybe more to follow...

I like it Rich; and, I think the Mesa looks good. Again, consider playing with the sun location and altitude to see if you can capture different looks. You may be surprised how sometimes just that action could yield something very pleasing to you.
