Description

A while back, I brought all my old slides in to Costco & had them converted to digital format. I'm slowly going through them & came across this one which I took over 35 years ago. This was our cat, Ptitsa (Russian for "chick", which was used as Nadsat slang for young women by Alex & his Droogs in Anthony Burgess' novel A Clockwork Orange). We often would come home to find her cuddled up in this frying pan on the stove...

Oh what a brilliant shot! Love it!! The cat - as they do - has the expression of "hey what you lookin at?" about it. Superb!!! Martin

Excellent and so very cat-like! I'm always amazed at the places they pick whenever they want to curl up and relax. Perfect name too: I like any references to A Clockwork Orange or Russian that I can get. I love the expression on her face and the nice, compact cat-in-frying pan shape! Marvelous!
