Description

Back from a long creative drought ! My daughter's death last year certainly did not help creativity and after struggling with this for a few months of work leave, my response was to immerse myself in as much work as possible ! Things are better now and it is time to slow down and start back something that I have loved in the past ! Last year, even in the worst of time, I saw the goodness in people particularly with a special friend from Texas who took the time to come up by car over 3000 km to offer me his condolences ! I took some time with him to show him the sights and thought he would enjoy the St-Lawrence seaway in nearby Québec. He did thoroughly enjoyed his trip and I, his company ! Walt, I thank you for the support and friendship ! My first thought when I decided to start toying with TG2 was what should I do ? Eventually settled on trying to convey the beauty of the St-Lawrence near my home. I have toyed with this now for 2 weeks, tweaking and tweaking, now it looks decent enough to present although I might have other changes to do. In any event here is the new work and hope you enjoy it. The work includes a lot of works from various people: Grasses and flowers, clouds : New World Digital objets (amazing works at a decent price !) Trees: X-Frog Grass Layers: amazing works given to us by Dandle'O (thank you so much!) Also sincere thanks to all the contributors of the TG2 forum that teach us so much and share so much of their works and suggestions ! The rest is this amazing software that is TG2 (thank you Planetside for making this amazing software, appreciate the excellent stability !) PS.For those who wish to know more about my daughter and her struggles, I have created a website to her honor (mostly in french with a partial english version accessible). Although I started this a year ago, it is an unfinished work but will likely be a lifetime thing ! There is also an unpublished song from a wonderful artist (who is now in France), Natasha St-Pier. It is a beautiful song given to Danielle by Natasha who was her dear friend from childhood and did keep tabs with her till her death. It deals with some of Danielle's struggles that she was a witness to and is a testament to their eternal friendship. http://www.danielleclavette.ca/ Sincere thanks and have a good day ! Paul

Paul, I'm so sorry to hear about your daughter. I realize this is a deep loss for you and your family ...our prayers are with you. You certainly have come a long way with your TG2 work. Artistically, you have achieved a special piece here. Great balance, color and light here. The vegetation is superbly placed. Your hours of work on this one shines through. Bob
