Bryce7Pro/DazStudio/Photoshop
Another in the Alien Environments series...this time the Polar Seas.The creature is the Leviathan from Daz(posed in DazStudio).The terrains are custom,all textured in a slightly modified Pro Material Aged Ice mat.The floating ice floes are four terrains,with the floes painted in the Terrain Editor.The water is a preset...I switched the bump for a variant wave,re-worked it in the DTE,and added a displacement value of 2.Sky,light and atmo are all custom.The vapour forced from the creature's blow-hole is a custom Photoshop document that I created,along with the corresponding alpha mask.I loaded these into the Material Editor and applied to a 2D Plane.This was then duplicated,rotated slightly,moved closer to the camera slightly,and then skewed and flattened vertically...creating the illusion of a volumetric cloud of vapour.In Photoshop I adjusted the levels,touched up the edges of the vapour cloud,added my signature and resized.Thanks for viewing and any comments!

Gotta say that aged ice texture looks great and nice work on the blow-hole effect ! Still in the grips of Winter and this chilly scene just make want Summer to arrive even sooner ! Well done & ~Cheers~
