I had one almost just like this; they're nearly impossible to break. You just replace the belt. Nice shot!!

We had one just like this Kim. Some one eventually bought it off me. She does a lot of sewing and when working on denim it is too thick and hard on her expensive newer machines. The old singer went thru thck layers of denim with no problem at all.

This is a moste excellent capture. :)))) My grandmother had one of these and all of us kids would go and pedal it til the pedal was moving so extra fast where we couldn't keep our feet on it. LOL!!! Yes my grandmother would ask us to stop in which we would. :))))) Thank you ever so much for taking me back in time. :)))))) Thank you for sharing all the beauty you see my friend. :)))))) Carry A Smile In Your Heart :))))

Wonderful shot! I remember my Mom’s pedal driven sewing machine and it was a Singer too. It looked just like this one. Dana

I was given a sewing machine that dated from the early 20's and to my surprise even though it ran fine(electric) it had not much value. I finally sold it for $75. my mother used a foot power Singer for many years until someone gave her an electric.very interesting subject
