I went through and turned off almost all the faves I have in my list - what scared me more than anything was that I have almost 800 favorite artists!!!
Think about that for a second - 800 of you are my favorite artists.
Perhaps in a week or so, I'll slowly turn on the ebots and reconnect with you.
Here is a quote that I hope everyone stops and thinks about it for while.

Wonderful fractal Mike. Love the motion this depicts. Take all the time you need to recharge Mike. This site is meant to be a source of enjoyment not a source of stress and obligation. We will be happy to see you when you are back, but totally understand the need for a break.

Mike...I think you commented on the first image I uploaded a long time ago. You taught me how to do reflections and refractions in D/S. Your images have always inspired me. Your D/S renders are awesome,as is your photography...and then I see you're a master at doing fractals. I respect you very much as an artist and a person. I understand the need to refresh...believe me...I do. Take that much needed break...and come back to us refreshed. I know that this is just an internet site...but it helps me escape from reality. And as we all know...reality sucks. Take care and go for the gold my friend!!! You're friend and #1 fan...Rick

Its just over two since I started posting and you've been there the whole way. I've enjoyed your humor, humanity, creativity and your absolutely delightful imagination. This image is no exception. Outstanding fractal. As long as you've cleared this with Queen Zlata I guess its ok to take some rest. You have certainly earned it. Rest up, enjoy your family and friends, drink some good beer and eat some good food. I'll see you on the other side, brother.

indeed on any artist i visit even when not in my favs and seeing in the whats new-i for sure meet a faemike comment along the way. 800 favs man thats frightening i dont want lol. take a break,i feel reading between the lines that you feel burned out and the shat piled up a bit over the time ,a drop here a drop there and suddenly the bucket is full.. take it easy and so the big spirit will we will meet live in RW..

800 - you must of thought you were on facebook - lol... I've tried to catch up to my emails... it's taking me hours a day... I go on vacation next month, so I'm just trying to ride this out.... I was getting 2 to 3 upload notifications after commenting on 1 today... it was pissing me off... and then, an artist that said he was done with rendo a year ago shows up this week, I'm happy he's back, but he uploaded at least 8 uploads today... I'm sorry, but I gotta have a life, I gotta do more than comment on people's art day after day for hours - so, I know exactly where your mind is at.... I know you were probably into making the art charts when it was 50... this last year was the first time I made it into the art charts - with them at 20, I rarely check them out - everyone that's on it is a favorite artist of mine - lol.... I use to visit it to see artists I hadn't heard of.... so, if ya tak a break and come back and I'm not here, I'll be on vacation -
