Description
Lake Powell was created by the construction of the Glen Canyon Dam in 1966. This is the view of one of the hundreds of finger canyons around Lake Powell. If you plan to visit this lake, rent a houseboat for a week and enjoy the lake from the inside. Many of the finger canyons are huge and you could spend a day exploring just one of the larger canyons.
