La foto di stasera è una risposta alla provocazione del mio caro amico Valerio che mi ha di non capire l’upupa . Io ho visto questo tipico uccello sostare in mezzo alla strada che corre lungo il fosso Bara ,dove sono le pompe di livellamento dell’acqua per l’irrigazione . Ricordo che il fosso Bara esce dal lago di Massaciuccoli e arriva fino ad incontrare il fiume Serchio portando l’acqua alle varie postazioni di irrgazione della zona. Io , arrivato con l’auto sulla strada sterrata che porta alla Statale Aurelia mi sono fermato nel punto d’incontro delle due strade e mi sono spostato nel posto passeggeri abbassando il vetro e scattando le foto in questo modo , L’upupa si è infilata nell’erba e poteva sparire , ma non l’ha fatto . La foto di stasera dove mi guarda mi ha fatto capire il suo piano che era di attrversare la strada e andare nei campi , dove poi è volata sopra un albero. A questo momento mi sono spostato al posto di guida e mi son affacciato da quella parte , restando poi immobile . Due minuti e eccola attraversare la strada come avete visto nella foto di ieri .
