Nice to see that statue model again... I first used it in a Bryce image about 5 years ago or so. Excellent work!

the tower is Don Webster model - and xfrog trees, I smudged colors around a bit to give the leaves greater variety and applied DOF in PS using the Z output from Vue, but I don't like the area where the statue meets the sky. The statue is the Stanford model (which is worth a google - that model was actually created by "scanning" a real statue).

Orcs always get such a bad rap. Cool concept, PH.

By accident I made him stutter, should have been called "Stanford Orkademy". And also, please understand, there was no intent in the slightest to belittle orcs by either his pensive attitude or by calling him a student.

Nice pose and character. I'm not sure the statue integrates smothly in the image ... too glossy IMHO. Good one anyway.

teecee - I agree with that, I kept fighting for a glass - high tech, maybe metal type of look. Stone would have been much wiser... I like the dark color, but the glossy look was plain dumb on my part. I appreciate that feedback, I was suspicious of same but too lazy to fix it. I should have fixed it anyway!!
