Description
We gotta stick together while mom's away.
Captured 5/8/11, at the Fullerton Arboretum, situated on the beautiful campus of California State University Fullerton in beautiful Fullerton, California.
Worth a ZOOM.
So, these little guys thought they could hide from the predatory lens of my camera, eh? No way!
Actually, I found them there in this position after the mother had packed them away, feeling her small brood would be safely ensconced between the boulders while she went for a solitary swim in one of the lakes. They must be used to these conditions because they exhibited no sign of distress while I hovered over them like the big bad wolf.

Oh bless where mum used to live we had a family of ducks every year at the door my mum used to feed them and they always came back superb capture !!
