Description

We gotta stick together while mom's away. Captured 5/8/11, at the Fullerton Arboretum, situated on the beautiful campus of California State University Fullerton in beautiful Fullerton, California. Worth a ZOOM. So, these little guys thought they could hide from the predatory lens of my camera, eh? No way! Actually, I found them there in this position after the mother had packed them away, feeling her small brood would be safely ensconced between the boulders while she went for a solitary swim in one of the lakes. They must be used to these conditions because they exhibited no sign of distress while I hovered over them like the big bad wolf. Sayonara, thankx for popping in, and for any and all favs and laudatory comments.

Aww, cuteness abounding in these shots, Harry! They must be used to people, given their reaction to you, which may not be a good thing for their survival...

They should keep nice and warm - just like us, surrounded by duck downs ... after all - three is not a crowd! BB

They look pretty comfortable with you standing over them. Great photo and collage Harry. Don't ever try this with swans. Dana

Very cute! Wonderful capture of the markings on their heads. Excellent detail and textures. They look so soft and touchable (not a good idea, I know). I like the lighter colored little guy. Beautiful shots!
